fountain of youth...

we love flagler college, its so photogenic.
new students orientating today. how great to be a student surrounded by all the old architecture. all the windows are by tiffany. we laughed about "retiring" as students in married dorms...i so could.

tropical interlude....

sexy tropical interlude @ the conch house in st.augustine. enjoyed our own tiki hut overlooking the intercoastal and listening to band for raggae sunday on the barge. this place has a small funky motel, a nice resturant, a huge marina, a party barge, bars....and flamingos!

call me the breeze...

drove a-1-a from ormond beach to st. augustine..
thru quiet summer haven and painters hill.
beaches are more natural...do you like the cocquina shell beaches?

welcomed break after temping @ college bookstore this week for rush!

a trip to airport and parking garage today...planes, elevators, buttons to push, ticket machines, escalators, carts, new signs, numbers and noises...boy heaven.


then to amtrack train station. air brakes, workmen crawling under train, checking wheels w/ a golf putter(no kidding), bells, tracks, cars driving up into train, ramps, engines, cabooses and double deck passenger cars.

truck troubles while in tampa. had to abort plans to go further to naples. any decelerations resulted in stalling out. sigh....or i meant to say ...UGGGGGGGG.
stopped at tampas international mall (by airport) for hot tea to wait out rush hour.

saw these new uggs at nordstroms. ...in cool low shine pewter.
wouldn't we look great in iceland together!


also shopped the diesel store.
diesel and ugg....how appropriate was that for the day.

saw these guys (viva) last nite at eustis downtown street fest. same cheap wine (almost boones farm) same food vendors..but when viva started the 1966..67..69..climb, each song was a happy spark of good memories. the warm summer breeze night w/ my sweetie was just right!


the "smoking torpedos" played a sultry version of "summertime" that was awesome too.
