fyi..i worked in this shop for years!!!

sunday was the best beach day of the year

finally got the wild ones out of the house

and to the beach

where running free in underwear

was

perfect

little ones

sticky lil candy cane fingers
and handmade stick treesjoy excitement wonder

and kids decorating in their underwear

glimpses of my house full

for 3 weeks of

christmas

lazied our sunday away in da vincis courtyard

da vincis' being a college town ecletic music cafe

tucked down a side street in deland

attached to the tongue & groove

which sells architectural salvage

the deland fall art festival was one block away

after strolling the art tents ...we ck'd inside tongue & groove
i love these colorsthey feel like fall to me
an elephant door from india

and grand-aged chandelier
great colors everywhere i looked
then we settled outdoors and listened to music for hours

watched kids run and trippie hippies dance
and ate fiercely good bbq

p.s. we were here after our sat. nite date to the beach also..

cause it felt just right
