took ian to visit st. augustine

it was pirate-licious!!

much excitement visiting

CASTILLO DE SAN MARCOS

we saw a pirate show on the intercoastal

cannons, sword fights, pirates and all

a moat! a real drawbridge!

i couldnt believe these beautifully ornate

cannons

could shoot a heavy lead ball

3 MILES!!!!

 ian scored a 1500 spanish cob

yeah, shhh

a replica

we lunched at

THE MILL TOP

directly across from the fort

every hour you hear the cannons shoot

ian really really wanted to visit
FLAGLER COLLEGE

gotta love a kid who loves to ck out colleges

here he learned some about

MR FLAGLER

of flagler ave, nsb

he joyfully showed me all the coolest

ya know

the stuff i've photographed over and over

because i love this place too

connecting the dots in his world

he even enjoyed looking at all the historic homes!!

we each picked our favorite

and stated reasons why ours was the best!!

our walking tour ended at the casa monica hotel

feet were tired...um, mine

 

ended day on st. augustine beach

yeah, about 50 times!!!
